The Wedding Dress features a diverse selection of unique wedding dresses for brides, bridesmaids dresses, mothers dresses, and flower girls dresses, in addition to a wide selection of headpieces, custom veils, lingerie, jewelry, and shoes. The family operated salon's knowledgeable consultants will gladly work one-on-one with you to create your ideal look. Come visit The Wedding Dress, and we are sure that you will find that "distinctive style for your walk down the aisle!" Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended.

Owner
Abbie Paklos owner and bridal stylist has worked in the fashion industry for 11 years and the bridal industry for 5! After attending college in Boston, she earned her Bachelors degree in business with a minor in fashion merchandising. While in college, she worked at a luxury boutique on Newbury Street and specialized in outfitting high end clients including celebrities. She also ran & edited a blog and online website for a popular Boston based retailer on the side. Abbie brought her business expertise and fashion industry knowledge to The Wedding Dress and shortly after fell in love with the business. "I love helping brides feel beautiful and making their dream dress come to life. The way it makes me feel when a bride finds her gown is extremely rewarding."
Shelley Bailey
Custom Design Master
Shelley's love of fashion compelled her to major in Fashion Design at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. In this competitive program, Shelley learned how to construct couture garments starting with sketching the design, to draping the pattern, to fitting on the fit model, and finally to presenting her creations on the runway to be critiqued by world famous designers such as Kenneth Cole, Isaac Mizrahi, and Louis Dell’Olio of Anne Klein. As a junior, Shelley won two prestigious Silver Needle Awards for her creations from celebrated fashion designers Bob Mackie and Marc Jacobs. As a hint of things to come, Shelley’s black lace cat suit wedding gown design for Gianni Versace closed out the Silver Needle Awards Fashion Show her senior year to a standing ovation. Shelley continues to excel in helping our brides create their custom wedding look!
